Hinman B is part of a duplex property. Side B is a 4 bedroom 3 bath home that will accommodate up to 12 each. This is a gorgeous property that boasts convenience in every direction! Enjoy access to a shared cocktail pool (NO GLASS IN POOL AREA), BBQ grills, and deck areas. The Hinmann Villas are right across the street from the Comal River/Tube Chute and walking distance to Schlitterbahn Waterpark, local restaurants, Landa Park Golf course, Hinmann Island, and more! It's a short drive or Uber ride over to Gruene, TX where you can soak up all the delicious food, Shopping and music that our little Hill Country gem has to offer.

  We had 12 women stay to attend the Gruene Wine and Music Festival and it was perfect. Clean, roomy and had a nice outdoor spa area to hangout in the evening. The property mgmt. company was great...check in/check out the whole process was simple and easy. Would definitely consider staying there or another one of their properties again. The only issue was parking with such a large group women.

  We have stayed in the Hinman house for two years in a row and it has been a great place for our family vacations. However, the bed in the master creeks and squeaks horribly! The slightest toss or turn in the middle the night will wake your wife up. It must be a cheap IKEA bedframe or something.

  Came for the weekend with friends to float the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers. The accommodations were perfect and the rental staff were very nice. The only thing I would comment on is the pool - its an oversized hot tub. It is much smaller than the pictures appear. All in all we had a great time and the location of the house is perfect.

  Great location and very clean. The water pressure very low. We called and complained about the parking because the A side was supposed to have 3 spots, they were taking up 6 spots. This didn't get resolved while we were there.

    Thank you for the review. We attempted to contact the guests on the "A" side, however they did not return our phone call. In regards to parking, each side is actually allowed 4 vehicles. We will be now numbering our parking passes to reflect that information. Hinman is at a the perfect spot to float the Comal River!

  My family enjoyed staying at the Hinman Haus! There was enough room for all 9 adults and 3 kids. Plenty of seating for eating and relaxing, along with seating outside on the patio. We enjoyed being right next to the start of the float on the Comal, and being able to walk down and just swim around above the chute at any time. While we were there, the line to start the float wrapped around the park, so it was really great to just look outside and wait at the house or in the pool at the house, until the line went down. We loved everything about this house and definitely enjoyed having enough room for everyone and enough bathrooms! We will be coming back to this house for our next visit to New Braunfels!

  This house is in a great location. There is a tube rental place across the street and the entrance to the Comal is a very short walk. The 4/3 house had a nice layout. The pool outside is small- not much bigger than a hot tub. There was no one in "A" beside us, but, if there was, you would have to share the pool with those guests. The house was very clean and in great shape. My only 2 complaints would be that the water that came out of the kitchen sink was brown. We let it run for a while but it was still brown. The only other problem is that the fridge did not seem to get very cool. It was on the lowest setting but still did not seem to get as cold as my fridge at home that I only have to keep on a middle setting.

In regards to the water at Hinman Haus, it has been noted that when the house sits idle for just a few days the water initially is brown from the sediment in the pipes, but clears after running. In regards to the refrigerator not cooling well, this is a common complaint with our guests in the summer. When you put items in your refrigerator at home, generally at least half of the refrigerator is filled with cooled items. When an entire refrigerator is filled with warm items, it can take up to 24 hours to cool those items if the frig isn't repeatedly opened.   This house was so convienently located right next to the Comal and Schlitterbahn. We were able to grab tubes across the street and walk over to the Comal. We were also very close to downtown New Braunfels which was great for us when we wanted to go out. The house was very clean and nice. There was plenty of room for 10 of us to sleep comfortably. The house was well equipped with anything we needed as far as dishes, iron and board, and blankets and pillows. One problem we had was that we checked in on Friday and the pool was filthy and green. I called Saturday morning to request it be cleaned and left a message at the office as no one was there. I received a call back on Sunday morning and was told that they clean the pool once a week on Mondays and that they would try to send someone a day earlier. The pool did not end up clean until early Monday morning which is when we were checking out. As a main amenity of the house, we were disappointed that we couldn't even get in one of the days of our stay. It was part of the reason we chose to pay a higher rental price. If it is a common problem, I think the pool should be cleaned twice a week or between rentals to ensure the best possible amenities for your guests.
