  We had a wonderful time during our recent stay at Camp Warneke Estates. This three bedroom condo was perfect for our party of eight. The unit was comfortable and clean, and was stocked with everything we needed. The location is ideal. An easy walk to the tube chutes with a private exit at the property allowed us to float the river as many times as we wanted without having to use a shuttle. The pool was really nice and close to our condo. Communication was very easy and helpful. We also liked that there was security on the property.
  The only issues we had were minimal: (1) All the extra non-working remote controls in the unit should be removed. Very confusing trying to figure out which ones we needed to use.
  (2) Parking for our third vehicle was offsite and not convenient.
  (3) There is a landline phone on the bar that is very dirty. Wouldn’t really be an issue if it wasn’t so close to where we cooked and ate.
  We highly recommend this rental and will definitely stay here again!

  The rental has a beautiful river view. The condo is spacious and very clean. Deer hang out along the river and we enjoyed feeding them. The area is nice and it is easy to get around town. Overall, we had a great time.

  Spent a February getaway at B208 in Camp Warnecke. Nice condo with all the fixins. Nice second floor unit on the river, although too many trees to get a really good view of the river. Weather was all over the place but still far better than shoveling snow back home. River City Resorts great to work with.

  Great Space for a family with kids. Do note that there are are stairs in the condo that lead up to the unit. The unit was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay! River City was awesome!

  Location was perfect. When we arrived, one of the showers was not working. Will came and fixed it for us. He also saw us struggling to air up our tubes and offered to fill them up for us. The mattresses really need to be replaced. Other than that, it was perfect!!

  The lights In Mstr Bath room need to be replace, you can’t see they would be better with bright lights. The ceiling fan in the Mstr Bed room need to be replace it’s make a noise, the lamb on the dresser didn’t have light bulbs. Also the tubs on the balcony they were so many of them we couldn’t even get on the balcony, the kitchen faucet was lose and broken. The pillow In The Mstr bedroom need to be replace very flat. The condo could use a little up dated.

  The team at Rivercity Resorts was great to work with and this unit was the best we've come across over the past four years. Location cannot be beat and the ability to sleep 8 in beds was a huge plus. The unit is very basic and the kitchen has the bare minimum when it comes to items such as wine glasses and pots/pans that are needed to prepare a meal for 8 people. Also, there are minor things like mirrored closet doors that are chipped/broken, peeling paint on the fireplace, etc. With just a little love this could be an outstanding property.

  We didn't like only having two keys for a three bedroom. We really wanted one more key. Would have actually been good to have a code on the was too hot having to keep air on 72. We loved being right on the river. We would definitely stay here again.

    Thank you for the suggestion of a keyless entry. We will pass that recommendation onto the owner. Due to the weather, when our AC's are turned below 72 degrees, we see a large increase in the units freezing up, leaving our guests without air conditioning. Hope to see you back again soon!

  Ten of us shared two condos almost next door. There was plenty of space for sleeping and vsiting. We all were pleased with the condition of the condos. Larger kitchens would have been nice but we only ate breakfast there so it wasn't such a big deal. Great to have full size washer/dryer. Both condos had balconies overlooking the river which was ESSENTIAL to the experience...too bad we couldn't all be on one. Teens and smaller grandkids were all happy witht he experience which was the most important part of the trip.

  Once again we had a great stay at Camp Warnecke! This condo was awesome, the kitchen was small but the living room was large enough to accomodate our group comfortably. The patio/deck was small too but we still enjoyed sitting out back watching people floating by : ) This property has the best location in my opinion because we were able to walk a few blocks to get in the river & float a couple of hours & end up at our exit point. Super easy : )

  I took 7 of my best girl friends to New Braunfels for my 30th birthday party and we had an amazing stay at Camp Warnecke!! The condo was perfect, we had tons of room for everyone, and the pool was right next door. The accommodations were very well kept, the kitchen was stocked with what we needed for the weekend, and the condos were very safe, and quiet at night.
  
  The tricky part was getting to float the river. I assumed we could drop on from the condo, but then we realized that the exit for the Comal is just a short float away. We were not very experienced with tubing, so we called a few places and were shocked to hear that it was $25 for the shuttle to the entrance!!! Even though you can borrow tubes from the condos, most places charged an arm and a leg just for the bus ride. FINALLY we saw others get on a bus and it was $5 for the ride!!! I don't remember names, but all I'm saying is DON'T SETTLE for an expensive shuttle.
  
  As for the condos, they were exactly what we needed, we were very comfortable, and we will definitely book again!!

  Floating the Comal is a long standing tradition for our family. Camp Warnecke is the perfect "upscale" place to stay in New Braunfels while enjoying the river. I would recommend it to anyone. We had a minor issue with the A/C in our bedrooms at night. Other than that the stay was wonderful.
