  This is a great place to stay. The patio overlooking the river is our favourite place to spend time watching the birds, and the peacefulness of the river with its surrounded vegetation.

  We’ve been renting condos at Camp Warneke for almost 30 years as we make family summer trips to New Braunfels to enjoy tubing and the Schlitterbahn. The experience has been consistently good. The condos are excellently maintained and well equipped. We also love having access to the pool and hot tub. I also like the fact that we can get free tube rentals from River City Resorts.

  I liked the location and the fact that tubes are now included if you stay at the property. However, because tubes are given you either still have to pay to get shuttled back or walk to public entrance. I would have preferred their be a drop in at the condos we were staying at, but wernecke is at the end of tube ride.

The inner tubes are complimentary use for River City Resorts' guests during their entire stay and we are glad you enjoyed them. If River City Resorts offered "shuttle service" then we wouldn't be able to offer free tubes! Hope to see you next time you float the river!

  We love going to the river and Camp Warnecke is our favorite place to stay. This condo was the perfect place for us to enjoy a nice weekend getaway before fall and winter take on South Texas. The unit was very spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The community had a few minor issues they are currently working on the 3rd floor balcony's so those are off limits and I am assuming that the platform to enter and leave the river is on the to do list of the HOA as well since it got messed up from the flooding this past year. But those are just minor issues in the grand scheme of things. We loved the views from out unit. We enjoyed drinking our coffee on the patio and enjoying the sites and sounds in the morning on the river. The river holds a special place in my heart and as always it did not disappoint. Thank you for yet another wonderful stay.

  Nice condo for an extended stay. Lots of cooking tools, utensils and glassware. Decor is 1970s but still comfortable. It would be nice to have some upgrades like the carpet replaced but we are not complaining.
