  We loved staying in the Opa Seidel Haus. It is close to everything, comfortable beds, everything you need for a fun stay. You can float off of the Comal river and walk a block to the house or walk to Schlitterbahn. The check in process is easy and owner is responsive.
  
  The only thing I would say is, someone, either the renter or owner is getting overcharged for the cleaning fee. Reducing this to a reasonable price for the house size would help with pricing.

  Loved the convenience of this quaint home. Easy access to Schlitterbahn and the Comal. Can walk to the city tube chute for a 2 1/2 hr float or walk to the bridge down Lincoln for a 1 hr float. Clean house and yard. Plenty of outdoor space and covered parking. Bedrooms are a good size with comfortable beds. Nice to have wifi!

  This spot could not have been more convenient. Directly across the street from the entrance to Blastenoff/Schlitterbahn made it very easy!! The house was clean and had plenty of room for the 5 of us. I was worried about the AC being kept at 72, we usually have it cooler, but the house was very cool and had ceiling fans in all of the rooms. Thanks and we will be back!!!

  We have two kids, ages 4 and 6, and this location was perfect for taking breaks during our day at Schlitterbahn. We avoided having to haul food into the park, and one child was able to continue swimming while the other took a nap in the house. A fence surrounds the entire front yard, so I didn't worry about them running into the street, which while busy during the day was quiet at night. The only drawback was that bright light from across the street shines into the front bedroom, a problem that was easily fixed by hanging a towel over the window with some bobby pins. Making reservations over the phone was simple, and the house was clean and comfortable.

  We were initially told the property would be available at 4pm Thursday, but after a call to confirm, we were told we could come as early as 9:30am! Service was great at the rental office, and once we arrived at the property everything was in order other than the uVerse TV connection. A technician with the rental office appeared in 15 or so minutes and fixed both TV connections no problem. Everyone was very professional and helpful, and I'd send a kudos to the technician gentleman that arrived, as he stayed an extra 15-20 minutes to give us the local's advice/viewpoint on all the surrounding attractions, advising us to avoid a certain part of the Comal, as we have a 4 year old son.
