Water Wheel J203 is a second-floor unit with stairs and an elevator offering plenty of space and all the comforts of home with a breezy, shaded covered patio overlooking the pool and courtyard.

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo sleeps and allows 8 guests maximum.

3rd Badroom: 2 Full Size Beds
Fully furnished with bathing towels, bed linens, cookware, a standard drip coffee maker, dishwasher, washer/dryer, TV's and more!
Property grills are located down the green area with picnic tables going down toward the second pool and Guadalupe River access.

Water Wheel Resort Condominiums sits on Guadalupe Riverfront property with 2 Pools and 4 Hot tubs!
-Sitting on the relaxing bank of the Guadalupe River you can get a 20-minute float in by walking 5 minutes over to River Acres Parks off of the Common Street Bridge, get in, and float down to the private Water Wheel Resort riverbank (make sure you’re wearing the property specific wristband!) and repeat for free all day long!
-Take advantage of the beautiful green area on property, bring some lawn chairs to sit and have a day on the riverbank with the convenience of staying on property for lunch and bathroom breaks.
-A quick 10-minute walk to the Schlitterbahn East -Blastenhoff entrance! Pack your cooler, and sunscreen, and don't have to deal with finding a parking spot!
- Walk with your tubes and cooler for about 15 minutes to Prince Solms Park/Hinman Island Park for public access to the Comal River and Tube Chute, jump in and float down to the last public exit (corner of S Union and Lincoln St) About a 2 hour float! Walk back to Water Wheel about 15 minutes!
--Take a brisk 20 minute walk to nearby restaurants or stroll further into downtown New Braunfels to enjoy more local restaurants, bars and breweries, shop in our quaint boutiques, and get strudel in the oldest bakery in Texas, Naegelin's Bakery!
- If you want to float a long portion of the Guadalupe River, we advise you to drive to Rockin R to rent THEIR tubes and use their shuttle service.
-And, Gruene, Texas with the world-famous Gruene Hall and delicious restaurants such as Gruene River Grill and The Gristmill are only a 10-minute drive away!

Places we recommend that are within a 10-20 minute walk to and from the complex:
Restaurants: Pats Place, Tin Top Burgers, Union Street Station, Muck & Fuss, New Braunfels Coffee, The Mess Around, Naegelin's Bakery, Bootlegger Pizza, Krause’s Café, McAdoos Seafood, Myrons Prime Steakhouse.
Bars/Night Life: The Oyster Bar, Calahans Pub & Pizza, Black Whale Pub, Moonshine & Ale, Phoenix Saloon, Scores Sports Bar, The Pour Haus, Downtown Social.

Everyone in party must be 25 or older to book. Renter's ID and Credit Card must be presented to receive check-in information.
Occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests are allowed. Pet-friendly unit with additional fees.

Wristbands and Parking Passes are enforced at this property.
Each condo will receive wristbands per maximum occupancy, which must be worn at all times while on property and 2 parking passes. Renters are guaranteed 1 marked parking spot close to the front door of the condo while second-vehicle parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis anywhere unmarked on property. Overflow parking is first-come, first-served on Mather St. running parallel to the condo complex.

Security guards are enforced on premises to ensure only guests of Water Wheel are using the grounds are parking in correct parking spaces.

  The condo was very clean and comfortable and very spacious. There was only one frying pan so I had to use a pot as a 2nd pan when cooking breakfast. The pool in front of the balcony is very very small but it is convenient and there is a larger pool toward the river. We didn't realize there were free tube rentals available until we got our check out instructions. I had to call the office because we were short 2 bracelets and the girl who answered was extremely nice, but the lady who brought them was extremely rude. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this property.

    We are glad that you found the unit spacious, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, inner tubes are no longer offered by River City Resorts as of 2021. We checked with the staff that brought the wrist bandstands and she stated that when she brought the wristbands to the condo, that no-one answered the door, so she she went to the courtyard pool to see if the guests were there. She found the gentlemen of the party poolside with several children and personally handed over the wristbands. She did say that none of the party had the property wristbands on (which they did have 6) and that she told them they needed to go upstairs and put them on. We are glad that you had a great experience and would recommend this property!

  My family with our college students enjoyed Spring Break at River City Resorts. The Waterwheel Condo overlooks one of the pools, and the resort sits on the banks of the Guadalupe River, is in walking distance of the Comal River, and is a short driving distance to downtown New Braunfels and Gruene. The condo is very spacious, nicely furnished, and clean. We had a great time and hope to return one day.

  Wonderful condo. Perfect for our family of 6. Close to everything. Extremely well stocked kitchen was really nice since we prepared most of our meals. Clean,well kept facility. Super easy rental agency to deal with. A+++ ! Would definitely return. Tons of space and wonderfully large/gated outdoor patio. Not many cons: ice maker didn't work and the love seat was peeling pretty badly on one cushion. I was worried my little ones would finish the job. :). Other than that... solid 10 out of 10.

  This is our second consecutive trip to the Waterwheel property. The condo and furhishings were great. We had a maintenance item and the crew came in within an hour after reporting it.   We had a great visit at this property. It was very close to everywhere we needed to go. Most of the time part of us stayed at the condo. It was plenty roomy. Some things could have been better (dishes, ice maker, remote to tv did not work, rug needed cleaning in Livingroom). It's size was perfect for a large group and a lot of Winter Texans were in residence. It was a very friendly place. I would totally recommend it and intend to go back next year.

  Home away from home. It was a safe,quiet and pleasant environment for spending a few days (grandparents, daughter and son-in-law, and small grandchildren). We would definitely plan to stay at Waterwheel again. It could be time for some spring sprucing of external entry ways etc. to enhance the general appearance, but all was well and our stay was great.
